La vida prometedora de Itan, de 12 años, en San Francisco se pone patas arriba cuando llega a casa de la escuela, con su hermano menor, para encontrar su apartamento saqueado y su madre desaparecida. De repente, debe confiar en su tío distanciado, un camionero. Itan lo manipula para que los lleve a través del país en su camión, tratando de encontrar a la madre de Itan y detener su deportación.

Great film with wonderful cast and story. What happens to this particular characters in the film is a constant reminder of the terrible injustice that still continues today. It's heartfelt and everyone should watch and start having compassion for those just wanting a better life for their families. I loved the film and hopefully our justice system will work to help stop deportation without some kind of justice.

So timely, so poignant and very well acted, the young actress is brilliant. Sad that this is happening while so few of us speak up. Bravo to the film makers for creating such an important commentary on the world we unfortunately tolerate happening to others in our society.

. Collisions successfully delivers the drama of a young Mexican girl who's mother has been deported and the child's unrelenting struggle to find her. The film is an amazing story of the plight of immigrants in America and the cruel government bureaucracies which tears families apart. Suspenseful and moving this is a tale which should not be missed.
