Notes et avis

Take some western movie cliche characters and put them in a cliche monster movie that has plot depth to rival "Beginning of the End" or Steve McQueen's "The Blob". The acting is quite good by several of the actors, adding a full star to the rating. The story has plenty of opportunity for improvement in C&A2, and judging by the overwhelming number of viewers who give it 5 stars, the sequel will come.

Its from a graphic novel and expected to be implausible. The fact that it takes itself seriously without being cheesy makes for a fun ride. The Daniel Craig character as more of an anti-hero is very cool. This movie not only looks great, but the sound effects are fantastic. I love when the sub woofer gets a workout. The title alone won me and I must say, "its a must see".

A morphing of sci-fi and western genres that is skillfully executed from start to finish! If you are looking for an all-out war of the worlds type fare, then pass on this. But if you are looking for a western where the bully learns a lesson and our hero's win the day. They by all means... watch!
