The symptoms: acute tickling of the funny bone and sever belly laughs. The diagnosis? Richard Pryor in Critical Condition. Playing a criminal who fakes insanity to avoid prison, Pryor ends up in a hospital mental ward. That's when the craziness starts as he escapes during a blackout and disguises himself as a doctor. Somehow Pryor brings order to chaos even while performing unorthodox physical examinations, delivering a baby and using a helicopter for air conditioning!

Paramount Pictures must be crazy! All of their movies are $9.99 or $17.99 which is a huge gap. This is a funny movie but $17.99 for a movie that is this old in HD, that won't even look as good as a modern SD. It's outrageously priced.. Let's be real- this should be more like $7.99 SD and 10.99 HD. Some sales would be better than basically zero.
