This movie was dull. It seems like a remake of poltergeist without a reason for me to care if the family disappears. It is about a dull "Starbucks coffee" couple and their whiny brats. Ugh i didn't care about the characters in the first sceen. Then it went down hill from there. Stupid side stories about uncomfortable moments in teenage love. It was pervy and it had a sound track (the only song in the entire movie) plus the sub story about the fams money woes.......who cares scare me! This movie sucks!

This story it was about a no win situation. Could have rated it higher but didn't answer the why it was necessary to write this movie in the first place, other than for action and suspense. The movie was half done, as if the writer had given up right in the middle of the story and decided that's enough, without answering the questions the story brought up. Like where were all these children that were taken? and so on. This story needed to be reworked because there were missing elements.

This movie has good actors in it but don't let that fool you. It is extremely boring. Husband laid off, strange stuff start happening in the house, the son is acting strange and last but not least the wife trying to make the husband believe something is going on. Typical but this is just so boring. I don't mind typical when there is a unique twist done in the middle or towards the end.
