As a young boy, Kyle (Chaney Kley) claimed to have seen the tooth fairy. He also claimed she tried to kill him. Now over twelve years later, Kyle has left the town that never believed him. He has also left behind the two people who thought he was telling the truth, his childhood girlfriend Caitlin (Emma Caulfield) and her younger brother. And when evil again emerges in Darkness Falls, Kyle must return to do battle with the winged creature of doom he saw that night so many years ago. Because evil is back with a vengeance. I remember when I saw this movie when it first came out, I can't lie I really was scared out of my skin. It's a crazy ghost story that will make you jump.

This made me fear the dark as kid. Growing up as someone who was interested in folktales and spooky stories of places and areas the story behind really was what made it spooky. It it isn't perfect but it's definitely a 5/5 in my books.

Don't know what's wrong with rotten tomatoes but if you want a great movie to actually terrify you and make you not want to be in the dark this is it. There is horror than there is true nightmares and darkness falls delivers nightmares.
