Maya Dolittle just wants to be a normal teenager, but there's one small problem... she's inherited her father's uncanny ability to talk to animals! Her special talent keeps landing her in the doghouse with her parents, and it's driving her friends completely ape! this movie is missing the key element of actually being good but instead it's about a teenager going through high school while trying to fit in while being able to talk to animals. Sounds decent enough right? Well here's an example, she's at a party throwing down sweet moves and the monkey shows up like 40 feet away and she has a feminine melt down while dancing in a group... Like seriously? That's pathetic it was just the monkey and all she had to do was just dance the monkey wasn't even doing anything yet she publicly makes a fool of herself trying to shoo the monkey. I love the Dolittle movies but I hope I can get a refund for this one because it doesn't even match the caliber of the first two which I give a solid minimum 4 stars. However not all is lost, if you're a girl with no taste you should find this movie right up your genre.
