Based on the popular original video game, Doom: Annihilation is an explosive, terrifying thrill ride. On the darkest moon of Mars, scientists have found an ancient portal which allows teleportation throughout the universe. Considered to be mankind's greatest discovery, it's actually a gateway from hell, unleashing a swarm of demons looking to steal the souls of everyone who gets in their way. It's up to Lieutenant Joan Dark and an elite unit of Marines to destroy an ever-growing horde of bloodsucking and soul-stealing beasts and prevent them from taking over planet earth.

Doom Cringe-worthy, I guess they call it annihilation. Characters you don't care about, there was some attempted soul sucking I think, giving a vision. Zombies for most of the movie. A bad guy human who's on hells side for whatever reason. The original doom movie is like 10 times better than this. That is saying something.

*spoliers* It's low budget but is much, much better than the PoS movie with the Rock. Truer to the game. Needs more super shotgun. I am confused by the decision to go with a Doom Gal tho, story would have worked the same or better if the roles with scientist were reversed. Sorely missing demon variety unfortunately. Overall the production, direction and acting are really good for the budget. Doom fans will appreciate it. Rip and tear.

If people are gonna make a doom movie... DO IT RIGHT with the doom slayer that's a man and super shotgun on top of intense gore that's the franchise
