How could any one compare this rendition of the classic as this movie does.Tracy both smooth and sadistic to two of the most beautiful movie stars of the golden age of movies It is never offered to watch and must be searched for by true science fiction and Horror movie buffs. New scary movies are good but few are so romantic and beautifully made!;-)

This is a stellar performance by Spencer Tracy and no Frederic March does not star in it with Tracy as mentioned by Google Play. I have to laugh at their goofs on older films. I like this version better than the seemingly overused pancake makeup of March's performance.

Unjustly maligned for decades, Tracy's performance is sublime and unmatched. Vastly superior to the 1932 paramount version.Seriously, how can anyone buy that any woman would give March' s caveman Hyde even a second look?
