I'm not usually one to be engrossed in crime dramas. I find them tediously paced and more focused on the majesty and extravagance of the titular gangsters, but I was blown away by it's intricately woven story and it's personal impact on the characters. This movie tears the veil away from the underworld and shows you the grit, the dirt, and the lengths and measures these criminals will go to protect their empire. Nobody is who they seem, and the agenda of each character keeps them all in mortal danger, leaving you guessing just what will happen next. I highly recommend this film! Watch it with friends and the people you love. You won't regret it!

Viggo gives another great performance and cronenbergs style needs no introduction, worthwhile

This is by far Cronenberg's most mature, best acted drama. Tense and gripping.
