A stunning Liz Taylor set in an enchanted land of tea, tropicalia and ELEPHANTS! Very good, multi-layered storyline for a time alien to today. Best enjoyed by 'Old Soul' romantics in heart 😉.

One of Elizabeth Taylor's best next to Giant which I saw when movies were less than a dollar and a little girl. Of course, Ceylon is now Sri Lanka, a very different world not that I have been there.

I have seen it before. An it was as good as I remembered.
