Sorry I've researched history and archaeology, the time of Moses was around 1,250BC. This is 1000 years and more before the Greek, Roman and Arabic invasions of Egypt. Egypt at that time still largely consisted of A-GROUP people's (first people, native) descended from the people of Naqada, Nubia basically... Black people. The first dynastic King or Pharaoh of Egypt was Narmer who was the first to unify Egypt, around 3,200BC. He was from Naqada, Upper Nile, near Sudan today, a black African region, Narmer was a black African King. The Narmer Palette is one piece of evidence, pre-dynastic burial grounds of Kings in the Upper Nile is more, as well as black African mummification burials in the Sahara, 500 years before King Narmer and more than 1,000 years before the first known Egyptian mummifications. The Saharan tribes were the forefathers of the Egyptians, back when the Sahara was NOT a great desert. THEY WERE BLACK PEOPLE. Please don't watch this film, the US has a black president yet Hollywood, the weather vane of Western culture, still can't bring itself to be more real about African history... Ancient Egypians were not white Americans..! It is simply a ridiculous falsehood.

If they are making a film. Get religious people and historians to get a more accurate picture of what took place. Why they keep ignoring people of colour? Kings and queens ruled Europe were black. Queen Charlotte for example. Why is it so hard for people to grasp the obvious. Black people were always here.

Ridley Scott applies the Gladiator film formula to an Old Testament Bible story. Lots of pasty faced actors with too much sun tan lotion. 3 stars is generous but its watchable. Just don't spend good money on it like I did and feel disappointed.
