'Gremlins' Director Joe Dante's loveletter to his childhood nostalgia. Overflowing with Speilbergian sentimentality, especially in its musical score and camera work. I've been a fan of Explorers since I first watched it on HBO as a kid way back in the 80s. Watching this film today, it still has the ability to transport me back to that magical childhood mindstate. Bursting with movie clips, sound bites, magazine covers; all from 50s era space Sci-fi films. Timeless classic, better than E.T. imo👍

One of my favorite movies of all time. Like many others I watched it as a kid and could never seem to remember the title. It's an '80s classic for sure. Great watch with my kids now.

This is the movie that made me think, they're just like us, when I was a teenager (yes, I bought the book at SHOPKO). Still love everything about this flick. 5* forever, I will never forget this movie.
