Acerca de esta película

Earth X is one of many realities in the multiverse, with one glaring difference from our Earth; the Nazis won World War II! Led by The Ray, it is here that a group of heroes known as the Freedom Fighters lead the battle against tyranny. But when The Ray is transported to our Earth to save his life, he passes his powers to his unsuspecting counterpart, Ray Terrill. Supercharged with super human abilities, this newly christened The Ray must adapt and overcome the challenges of crime fighting, albeit with a little help from The Flash and Green Arrow. Seasoned and ready to fight, The Ray now faces his biggest battle, a return to Earth X to lead the Freedom Fighters against Overgirl and her evil Nazi henchmen!

*Spoilers below* Political agendas aside, the beginning and ending parts were pretty solid. After the opening scene the movie droned on in very predictable ways for the gay superhero with a typical picking up at a bar scene, coming out to his conservative parents, and helping a lesbian couple in the park that were being assaulted by a man. About 30-40 minutes of the movie was him showing his relationship and political views and conveniently fixing almost all of his issues in life with his powers, which I feel really took away from how they could present him as a hero that people look up to (they say he was a hero in his town, but other than a few random superhero acts, you see no interactions or people actually praising him for his acts). His power levels seem to fluctuate the whole movie, with him being able to lift ships and go toe-to-toe with Supergirl taking eye beams to the gut, and then in other moments struggling with the Flash with a knife (to be fair, this was the previous Ray, he didn't seem as strong with his powers) to getting a gunshot wound from some regular bank robbers. Voice acting- 2/5 Fight scenes- 3/5 Story- 1/5 Giant robot fight- 2/5 (not the best)

Spoilers Not a good thing to say about this movie. By the end, It just felt like to whole point was that the protagonist was just trying to get with his non gay "Best Friend" by going to an alternate reality and finding out that his bestfriend is gay here, so he then decides to leave his entire reality behind and stay where he can be with his bestfriend and punch nazis. This movie has the subtlety of a brick in the face. This is definitely bottom tier trash. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You'll just encourage more garbage...

I like comics and frankly, liberal(finger to the conservative virus throughout these reviews). The writing and directing and everything was just a mess. The voice acting, assuming its based on the script, was Saturday morning cartoonish. I can't comprehend who would have let this be developed so poorly. I'm only more disappointed in DC with Batman Ninja. Maybe next time, ask the community to collaborate to write the script. Strong visual effects and graphics though.
