My all-time favorite movie along with great expectations who coincidentally had ethan hawke, but this movie takes the slightest edge as it has a more subtle darkness that cannot be matched. If you like a somber sadness mixed with hope, despair, and futurism, then I definitely would recommend this fim.

This movie is often listed as one of the top sci-fi movies ever made. It's not a special-effects-laden spectacle intended for a summer movie blockbuster, but it's a powerful story, with engaging characters. It's easily some of Ethan Hawke and Jude Law's best work, and they play off each other amazingly well. This is not a movie to miss, and it's well-worth more than one watch-through.

Honestly might be my favorite movie of all time. I'm a huge sci-fi nut but this movie has it all. The plot is outstanding, the acting superb, the twists are well played out. Just a great experience.
