Acerca de esta película

The hit documentary from the 2016 Sundance Film Festival goes inside the life of Steve Gleason, the former New Orleans Saints defensive back who, at the age of 34, was diagnosed with ALS and given a life expectancy of two to five years. Weeks later, Gleason found out his wife, Michel, was expecting their first child. A video journal that began as a gift for his unborn son expands to chronicle Steve’s determination to get his relationships in order, build a foundation to provide other ALS patients with purpose, and adapt to his declining physical condition—utilizing medical technologies that offer the means to live as fully as possible.

So many people thought this was a wonderful film and in some respects it is but when he says he wants to do this for his unborn child/son and the F bombs start flying I have a HUGE problem. Maybe Steve and his wife think it's appropriate for a little boy to hear that kind of language but I'd have to disagree with them. If he were to go to school and let out a string of F bombs he'd end up in the principal's office. I'd caution those with young kids to clear the room or wait until they've gone to bed before viewing this.

Cried so hard in this that I woke up with swollen eyes. What a gut wrenching and beautiful story of making the most out of life.
