This version of Godzilla is without a doubt my very favorite. The design, the roar, the powers, this Godzilla is just the best. Ghidorah is also great in this movie and although its kind of a dumb decision to have a Mecha- King Ghidorah at the end, It still makes up for a great city fight scene at the end. The films soundtrack is also fantastic. Godzilla has a great theme in this one that gives a sense of terror every time he's on screen. The whole time travel deal is kinda whack though and you might find yourself face palming at the story. One of my all-time favorite scenes is when this guy who fought with Japan at a war encounterd Godzilla before he was mutated so he was a big dinosaur or a Godzillasaraus. The Americans shot it down and the Japanese surrounded the beast and the one soldier soluted it. Little did they know it was going to be ressurected and mutated into Godzilla. Years later the man is now old and Godzilla is terrorizing his city. He refuses to evacuate the building he's in because he thought nothing was going to go wrong. Then Godzilla comes upon his window in the tall building and the man stands up and they both look at each other. The old man is left with tears and Godzilla actually recognized him and they both look at eachother remembering the day at the war zone when pre mutated Godzilla was about to die. Godzilla looked like he was actually about to shed a tear and you thought that this beast actually has a heart. WRONG! Godzilla roars and blast the man in the building with his atomic breath. Loved that scene!!!

I'll be honest. This movie is stupid. The plot makes no sense, and it's low budget, cheap quality is very apperant... But it's also so much fun. I'm pretty sure this movie isn't taking itself seriously, and it's probably not the best Godzilla movie out there. But damn its still entertaining. Definitely watch it if you like the old school B-movie Godzilla, and movies that are so bad they're good.

Crazy, epic, risky and downright awesome. This movie reinvents Ghidorah's origin and I think it worked really well. There are some choices that may piss off die hard fans, but this movie is what Godzilla is all about. Epic kaiju battles with insane storylines.
