When 4 year old Amanda McCready disappears from her home and the police make little headway in solving the case, the girl's aunt hires two private detectives (Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan) to help find her. They soon unravel a multitiude of twists and turns where nothing is what it seems and are forced to risk everything to find her.
