I fell asleep for about 15 to 20 minutes in the middle of this movie...and felt like I missed nothing. I'm an avid movie fan, and I NEVER fall asleep during movies! But that should tell you all you need to know. Plus, the ending was trying to be creepy/artsy, but it just left me confused. There's no closure, it's not even remotely "thrilling"...and the soundtrack wasn't even good - the music was middle-of-the road at best. Two stars for Winona and Winona only (because I still love her).

Winona Ryder's star performance isn't enough to make up for the weak setup to what could be an awesome twist only for it to end flat on its face at the end. Sorry to say it, but Gone In The Night (or The Cow as it should've been called) doesn't leave any impact whatsoever.

This movie was like a bad acid trip. The writer should consider another occupation, seriously. Yes, it is more appropriately named "The Cow".
