In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, an elite, powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. When a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds). Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal's humanity is one weapon no member of the Corps has ever had, and if--with the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively)--Hal can quickly master his new powers, he will save the Earth and all of mankind from certain destruction.

I'm the one guy who'd actually enjoyed all the movies that dc has made recently, even suicide squad somehow, and even I thought this was trash. If you really need to waste your time on it then don't buy it. Just rent it so you don't have to give them $13. They don't deserve that much

Pretty solid for Pre Avengers superhero movie as it aims high before the bar was raised but villian is pretty weak as it's hard to take a toe shaped man as threatening even with psychic powers.

Bassicly another Batman and Robin- Great for the kids to enjoy, but not so much for comic fans. This movie was very dissapointing in my opinion. Its the reason I didn't look foward to deadpool when they announced Ryan Reynolds as DEADPOOL.
