Acerca de esta película

In November 2008, a wave of devastating terrorist attacks throughout Mumbai catapulted the city into chaos. The primary target of this attack was the renowned Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Based on true accounts of this terrifying assault, HOTEL MUMBAI brings together the guests and staff of the luxurious hotel including wealthy new parents David and Zahra (Armie Hammer and Nazanin Boniadi), Russian businessman Vasili (Jason Issacs) and newly promoted waiter Arjun (Dev Patel) in a desperate fight for survival. Filmed in Adelaide and directed by Australian filmmaker Anthony Maras, HOTEL MUMBAI is the astonishing true story of the victims, the survivors and the extraordinary heroism of hotel staff who valiantly risked their own lives to protect the lives of their guests. A story that celebrates humanity’s capacity for compassion, courage and the unwavering desire to survive.

A great and confronting portrayal of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. What the news didnt tell you were the brave staff that stayed behind to protect the guests. This movie honors their bravery and commitment in the face of death.

Wow. Every story arc was deeply felt and brilliantly acted. Without realising, I visited almost every location attacked 10 years later. To see this film now, having been inside these locations, is truly heart-wrenching.
