Acerca de esta película

Hotel For Dogs is a funny, heartwarming and inspiring animal adventure that shows how far love and imagination can take you. When 16-year old, Andi (Roberts), and her younger brother Bruce (Austin) find themselves in a foster home with a strict "no pets" policy, they must use their quick wit to find a new home for their dog, Friday. When they stumble into an abandoned hotel, they realize they can transform it into the perfect place for Friday- as well as all the strays in the city. What began as a crusade to save one dog becomes a high stakes adventure as everyone around them starts to wonder- who let the dogs in?

Hotel for Dogs is about two siblings who became orphans. They became animal rescuers to help and save any dog (stray or not) that has lived a miserable life, while trying to cope with community. What's not to like? This is not an emotional eye-watering drama about a dog who dies, This is not a talking dog comedy that is strictly for kids either. Hotel For Dogs is just pure good-natured family-friendliness that comes across as cute, likable, and even compelling (very compelling). Lauren Shuler Donner (the producer of Free Willy), Screenwriter "Mark McCorkle," and Director "Thor Freudenthal" has their minds that are completely involved in dogs, families, and communities. The simple story has a lot of heart, and the movie's heart and emotions are at the right place, at the right time, and they are just amusing and pleasant to experience. This movie is pleasing enough to win the hearts of it's audience as well (both kids and adults). The characters are surprisingly effective and are very well executed for a family friendly movie like this; it has a likable duo of orphaned sibling protagonists with some supporting side characters that are caring friends, a kooky, snobbish rock couple, a sympathetic social worker for the two siblings, villainous dog pound workers with police officers that are ruthless and overzealous, and of course, cute, clever, sweet dogs. Even though some of the comedy is cheeky with it's crude humor, most of the comedy is so amusing because these funny moments are quick, sharp, and even cute, thanks to it's great camera work, the well-wrought beats, and the clever script-writing. The score by John Debney really gets involved with the storytelling of the movie and the score has this energetic and colorful sound, even the songs in the soundtrack are an amusing asset for the storytelling as well. Pet lovers and all families of all ages 6 to 96 will truly get a kick out of this simple, yet pleasing and likable diversion, the kids will laugh, be satisfied, and most importantly, be very entertained, and parents or adults will find this to be cute and upbeat. To conclude: Hotel for Dogs is a light-hearted and frequently funny crowd-pleaser for families and animal lovers most likely. Highly Recommend.
