Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) es el mejor del mundo en el arte de la extracción: apropiarse de los secretos del subconsciente justo en el momento en que la mente de la víctima es más vulnerable: durante el sueño. La extraña habilidad de Cobb le ha convertido en un hombre muy codiciado en el mundo del espionaje corporativo, pero también le ha condenado a ser un fugitivo internacional, costándole todo lo que alguna vez ha querido. Ahora tiene una oportunidad de redimirse y volver a tener la vida normal que anhela, pero para ello él y su equipo tendrán que realizar lo contrario a lo que realizan habitualmente: la incepción, que consiste en implantar una idea en el subconsciente en lugar de sustraerla. Sin embargo su plan se complica cuando un peligroso enemigo parece predecir cada uno de sus movimientos. Un enemigo que sólo Cobb podía ver venir.

This movie deserves EVERY SINGLE last award it received! The premise is confusingly complex which is what makes it so genius with its flawless execution. All written, produced, AND directed by a one man mastermind named Christopher Nolan! It's amazing he executed all major roles of such a project with no doubt at the audience's expense! The epitome of a unique sci-fi, eye-widening excellence.

There are a few plot holes and way to much dialog and exposition, but I guess that's required when making a movie with this kind of concept. But the creativity is on another level. This movie will go from 20 minutes of boring exposition 20 minutes of breathtaking action sequences. This isn't the best choice as a casual movie to wanting to watch with friends, but is perfect for people who want to experience a masterpiece of filmmaking. I have seen this multiple times and still find new details.

They took a pure action movie and built a flimsy premise with useless dialogue around it like a plumber who shows up at a woman's house to fix her pipes in a porno. Plot holes weren't the reason we came to see this movie.
