I'm in my 50s and I thoroughly enjoyed this musical tale. It had unexpected twists and turns and an unexpected outcome... much like life itself. The characters were most imperfect and that appealed to me. A fun journey unlike the usual stories with the impossible happy endings. Whilst not a great fan of musicals I quite enjoyed this one.

For everyone saying this movie shouldn't have had as much singing or that Disney should have done better on the soundtrack, this movie is originally based off the Broadway Musical. And for the reason that the fairytales may be different is because they're based on the Brothers Grimm versions. All of the actors do a phenomenal job singing especially Anna Kendrick who takes some of the songs to a higher key then the original Cinderella. 5/5
