As is Donnie Yen ( again ) and its brilliant on technical merit alone ; however in this 3rd of the Ip man ( Yip man) series , we dont find the same emotional involvement. Ik ik yall will say im crazy cause what could be more emotional then the issues befallen the wife and his devotion depicted. But i maintain that some of that visceral feeling that provokes tears within the viewer in the prior 2 films is under developed here. And yes i do know yall are in it for the wing chun and as i stated.......

Loved Ip Man, liked Ip Man 2 and... walked away confused from 3... Still featuring [a few] great action set pieces, Ip Man 3 is incoherent, paceless and uninteresting. A wasted, excellent Bruce Lee impersonator essentially cameos and an aging Mike Tyson simply duct-taped to the script. Just pass. This movie left me sad and deflated.

4.5-loved part 1 and 2 probably the best one. Part 3 was good had great moments but the story was at times like huh what happening. Tyson did really well didn't think he would pull it off great. Bruce Lee wasn't even really in the movie how he learn? And wish it would have explained what happens to everyone after. Donnie yen still proved it good. 4.5☆☆☆☆
