Just to be clear, this is not a conventional horror movie. It's a drama-thriller sith horror elements. So dont expect a popcorn-flick... That being said, this was a great 1/2 of a movie. It feelt way too short for me to give it an honest recommendation. Though the pacing was alright, acting was good, tone was perfect, it just felt like it could have said more. I don't feel like I'm walking away from this experience with anything I havent already seen in other films. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't do this movie any good. The setting is nice and I felt like it had a great buildup to something we didn't get to see. It feels like the writers thought they could write half a movie and let the unsolved loose-ends be a selling-point. Leaving things in the dark is fine, but when you introduce so much and say nothing of it in the end it falls very flat. I'm still giving it 4 out of 5 starts because I cant lie about loving everything about it, up until the very end.
