Inspired by author Robert Louis Stevenson, this classic tale stars Academy Award-winner Michael Caine in a powerful performance as both Dr. Jekyll, a kind-hearted scientist, who yields a personality-splitting drug that he tests on himself, changing him into an uninhibited brute seeking violent and undignified pleasures. As Jekyll loses control over his transformations, and the antidote becomes less effective, the police begin to suspect his part in his alter-ego's increasing violence.
