Acerca de esta película

Writer director Taika Waititi, brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young girl in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler, Jojo must confront his naive patriotism.

Before watching it's important to understand that the absurdity of the Nazi party portrayed here is meant to show just how silly their customs and beliefs were and to illustrate the point that behind their facade of strength, they were collectively fragile and thin skinned. At no point does this movie poke fun at or dehumanize the victims of the holocaust or those oppressed by Hitler's party. Just the opposite. They are portrayed as strong willed and survivers during a brutal time. Amazing film!

WOW not something to watch in the theatres, at least not with the kids. since it's PG-13, I watched it with my son. At certain points in the movie there are going to be questions asked and you'll need to pause the movie and explain the context. maybe the best way to introduce the young folks to WWII history.

One of Taika Waititi's better films. Dark comedy, drama but a film with alot of heart. Oh and you haven't really appreciated The Beatles or David Bowie until you heard them in German. Trust me.
