In a world plagued by demons who cause great human suffering, young demon hunter Xuan Zang risks his all to conquer a water demon, a pig demon and the demon of all demons, Sun Wukong. Adhering to his firm belief in giving of one's self for the greater cause, he embraces the demons as his disciples. However, in order to atone for their own sins and save the common people, the four of them must embark on a journey to the West that's full of challenges.

Fun but a little long. Its the begining of the "A Journey to the West" story that has been an part of Chinese culture for so, so long (ming dynasty?). It doesnt make a lot of sense if you dont know the jist of the tale... Actually, even if you do, you might still wonder wtf is going on from time to time. If you do know the story, the payoff is at the end.

I'm a new father and when I started watching this, the father and her daughter seems to have fun bonding. But afterward, the dad was eaten alive and so did the little girl. I was shocked and a bit sad to see that as a father myself, imagining what if that was your baby girl? This isn't a comedy that I had in mind. Thanks for refunding my money Google Support Team.

I was deeply disappointed by the first and last scenes. Visuals were great and most of the movie was entertaining, but there are better Monkey movies out there for sure.
