Kunal, a poor boy from Tamil Nadu, gains admission in Ramachandra College, Bombay with help of college chairman, Nasser. He meets Sonali Bendre in one of the chatrooms on the internet and love blossoms. After they meet, a series of accidents prevent them from voicing their feelings for each other. And when Kunal finally decides to express his love for Sonali, he learns that she is the daughter of Nasser. Nasser wants a rich lifestyle for his daughter and Kunal decides to sacrifice his love. The rest of the narration is about whether the lovers unite unite or not.
