Vijay dons a dual role in this movie. Jeevanandhan (Vijay), a social activist fight against a monstrous MNC company to restore farming. The other Vijay, ‘Karthikeyan’, a small time thief, but an ultra intelligent youngster, who swaps position with Jeevanandhan because of destiny, and leads the war with the corporate headed by, Neil Nithin Mukesh, which tries to steal the fertile lands from villagers.

The movie was full of tells about farmers issue its a biggest welcoming for director A.R.M ,and also congratulation for my fav hero ilaya thalapathi vijay roles on this movie ,long back he acted dual role,and shuts a haters mouth, already this combo done" Thuppaki" and movie is biggest block buster, agin A.R.M done second project with him from the pressure vijay fans,, kaththi interval block give great goose bums to his fans, 2014 diwali is with shines like kaththi, for this movie more number person tried of banned before release because of lyica production....after in the movie not intimate about production

In this movie, I like vijay songs and fights. I like his character and he is saying about farmers problems to citizens, but citizens is hearing his voice, he and some old man sitting in a water tunnel and they stopped water to the city. I like this movie

Despite some flab, most of the scenes are plotted excellently. A.R.Murugudoss and Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay combination has once again proved their mettle.
