It could and would have been a great movie if it was more historically accurate. Writters were extremly bias towards salladin... making him to be a merciful man, when infact he was a murderer, thief, paedophile, rapist, and had absolutely no mercy towards Christians.... they should have done research, as salladins character is well documented... it's as though production were afraid muslims wouldve kicked a fuss if they portrayed him as he was.... pitty, bcoz it's a good movie otherwise

Great movie however extremely bias potraying saladin as a great man and muslims as victims , check your history the middle east was all Christians till muslims.massacred and took over then Christians called a crusade, after the sack of Jerusalem saladin only let free the men who had money to pay to leave most woman and children were raped or killed just like they did to Antioch Tyre Syria e.t.c hollywood goes to laughable extent not to offend muslims lol
