Acerca de esta película

Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and groundbreaking film that reveals the first viable solution to our climate crisis.

Kiss the Ground reveals that, by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Using compelling graphics and visuals, along with striking NASA and NOAA footage, the film artfully illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle.

This movie is positioned to catalyze a movement to accomplish the impossible – to solve humanity’s greatest challenge, to balance the climate and secure our species future.

Kiss the Ground is a film that really illuminates just how much of a large difference any one individual can make. Josh and Rebecca Tickell highlight many small but effective environmentalists, like Detroiter, Pashon Murray, who independently gathers compost materials from restaurants and zoos to better soil. Kiss the Ground reinvigorates a passion for an environment we thought lost and encourages its viewers that the ability to make change lies within us all.

Kiss the Ground, directed by Rebecca and Josh Tickell, is a truly inspiring and eye-opening film about the power of soil, and how it has the ability to save our planet. I found myself fixated on every scene and location that took me through multiple different approaches to soil regeneration. Not only is this film educational, but it’s a cinematic work of art, from the storytelling to the strategic camera work with lighting and angles. By the end, I was deeply moved and I would 100% recommend it.

As someone who does not know much about the science behind farming, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this film. Through agricultural regeneration, we can rehabilitate our soil to avoid desertification. Director duo Joshua and Rebecca Tickell do what seems to be impossible: a documentary about climate change that leaves audiences inspired. It was definitely a great watch that I highly recommend to anyone interested in great directing, stunning cinematography, and a heartfelt message.
