Del director Paul Feig (La boda de mi mejor amiga) y de la guionista ganadora del Oscar® Emma Thompson (Bridget Jones's Baby) llega esta sincera comedia romántica inspirada en la inolvidable música de George Michael. Emilia Clarke (Juego de Tronos) interpreta a Kate, una joven que trabaja como elfo en una tienda navideña que abre todo el año. Kate deambula por Londres enfrentándose a la mala suerte y a un cúmulo de malas decisiones hasta que conoce a Tom (Henry Golding, Crazy Rich Asians), un hombre generoso y con un misterioso pasado que reta la cínica opinión que Kate tiene sobre el mundo. Parece que nada puede mantener a la incompatible pareja unida pero, en ocasiones, hay que dejar que caiga la nieve, saber escuchar al corazón... y tener fe.

The storyline is weird and all over the place. I don't even understand the point of half the plotlines. So this girl was sad and selfish just because she didn't get any attention after her heart surgery was over? Then miraculously after one ice skating date she turns her entire life around? The twist made it partially interesting but ultimately there was nothing satisfactory about the movie or it's ending.

Well I disliked the movie on Google cause it just is a bit boring to me, and the editing throughout is poor alot. I did like it in ways which i'll mention, but the film literally jumps all over, making it not make sense. It's touching, pretty, emotional a bit, funny at times, but in the end Feig can do better then Last Christmas.

Only because I really love Emilia Clark did I give this an extra star. I really don't like these "he/she turns out to be a ghost in the end movies" Like why should anyone buy that she was talking to herself the whole time and no one stepped in to say hey, you're nuts or intervene in some way? Sorry but I never buy that. And the romance was really lacking, whether he was real or not. Pass on this movie.
