This high-voltage sequel continues the adventures of Los Angeles detectives Riggs and Murtaugh (Oscar-winner Mel Gibson and Danny Glover) as they try to thwart a smuggling ring of blond South African "diplomats". Gibson finds romance this time around, and Academy Award- winner Joe Pesci ("GoodFellas," "My Cousin Vinnie") joins the team as fast-talking con artist Leo Getz. I have watched all of the Lethal Weapon movies and all of the Die Hard movies. The Die Hard movies are much better. These are too dependent on car chases and explosions. All of them are the same in that regard. Not much creativity on the part of the director. Another comment. I am sick to death of movies like this with negative and nasty and untrue comments about Michael Jackson. Talking about Michael sleeping in an oxygen tank. That was a stupid rumor. In 1993 Michael went on Oprah and debunked that and the other stupid rumors going around about him. How many times did Michael have to go on national television and tell the truth? I think people were just plain jealous of his unstoppable talent and his greatness as a human being. Maybe some racism as well. Find another target. You already helped kill him.

Watched both one and two over a decade ago and still have the original VHS lol! Now I've purchased the digital versions, and enjoy watching them again. Glover and Gibson are a great classic cop duo. Great action and adventure.

I thought this was the best because I found it unique that L.A.law enforcement's finest were up against the south African Parliament.
