Eddie Murphy is the fast-talking con artist Rayford Gibson and Martin Lawrence is the conservative bank teller Claude Banks. The two are accidentally teamed up to become the funniest "odd couple" east of the Mississippi. In an effort to pay off Ray's debt and restore Claude's reputation, they travel south on a bootlegging run for some quick cash. There is no limit to their comical misfortune as they are placed at the scene of a crime and their mistaken identity lands them right in front of the judge. This hysterical comedy gives a whole new meaning to friends for life.

Non stop laughs from some of the comedy kings, this movie never gets old, and in my opinion was destined to be a classic. Bernie Mac kills it as Jang a Lang, Eddie Murphy, and Martin Lawrence were an unstoppable comedy force in this gut buster, not to mention the other old school star actors, and the ones who this film put on the map.....RIP Bernie Mac.

An absolute classic. I very much loved this movie. Totally worth the money. Sad to say, I only rented it but next time, I will buy it. Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence had me laughing till the very end and also made me see how much of their lives were taken from them. I recommend this film to anyone.

Bravo to all of the actors! Everyone's performance was so good that it almost seemed that they were all "the star" of the movie. The relationship between Claude and Ray (Martin Lawrence & Eddie Murphy) was so realistic that you almost forget that you're NOT really watching two old men. Each time I watch it I see something or hear something funny that I didn't hear before, even the little nuances that are not so bold in the movie are hilarious!
