Hoping to reverse a 'curse' that's hung over his family for generations, Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) hatches a plan to rob the Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR's biggest race of the year. He convinces his bartender brother Clyde (Adam Driver) and hairdresser sister Mellie (Riley Keough) to help him pull everything off--but first they have to break the bomb maker Joe Bang (Daniel Craig) out of jail in broad daylight. I was completely surprised when I first watched this movie. It started out slow but then developed into a well thought out plot and story. This is a typical bank heist movie, but with amazing plot twists to reel you into the story. Logan Lucky was surprisingly one of my favorite movies of 2017, and I'd recommend everyone to watch this movie.

Logan Lucky had a lot of thought and creativity mixed in with dry humor. I was genuinely impressed with Channing Tatum in a serious role, and Adam Driver's timing is excellent. This flick came together with perfect doses of comedy, foreshadowing, suspense, and a bit of action. You even get to see Roy from the office, lol. Love the plot.

Quite possibly the slowest movie I've seen in awhile and I'm not sure how it got the "comedy" genre category. I was more sad than laughing during this one. Very clever, cool to watch it come together but not a fan of a few of the actors. Some parts were cute but I wouldn't say funny and the soundtrack was NOT for me.
