The acting is borderline horrible and the plot is thin to say the least. Theo Rossi is flat and the stereotypical white girl hipster love interest is written like something straight outta 90210. please give me my 6 bucks back google.....

This movie is about the Chicanos and Chicanas. How some grew up in barrios to survive, and what some families go through. Many who isn't from East LA, wouldn't understand the blot of the movie. I'm from there, and I tell my kids all about the barrio, and what some of us had to go through just to survive in the hood.
