In the late 1800s, die-hard cowboy Monte Walsh (Tom Selleck) refuses to give in to the changing times, even though his lifestyle is fast becoming a thing of the past. Although tempted to settle down when he falls in love with Martine (Isabella Rossellini), Walsh ultimately decides to pursue his greatest passion and, in doing so, prove that the cowboy will live on forever.

One of the last real old "timey" like Westerns! Close to the Westerns of the 60's, 70's, & in the 80's, & even before!! GREAT MOVIE!!! WATCH IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT. Has drama & humor so don't miss any of it! Were there room, I'd tell you the spots to watch & listen for the dry wit.😊 I'm smiling just thinking about that entire movie though there is sadness that stirs you deeply. Good entertainment!
