Sam Bell is nearing the completion of his 3-year-long contract with Lunar Industries, mining Earth's primary source of energy on the dark side of the moon. Alone with only the base's vigilant computer Gerty as his sole companion, Bell's extended isolation has taken its toll. He longs to return home, but a terrible accident on the lunar surface leads to a disturbing discovery that contributes to his growing sense of paranoia and dislocation so many miles away from home. If you love sci-fi movies that have excessive lens flare, low cinematic horn, fast paced fighting robots, buildings getting blown up, and no story line. Then, this is not the movie for you. Sam Rockwell is an excellent casting choice. Clint Mansell scoring the OST; absolutely brilliant.

Yes, this is a great movie. Rockwell nails it in every movie he is in...this one is especially well done. Truly a great movie that will please any sci-fi fan.

One of the best science fiction movies of all time. An absolute must see. No lasers, explosions or aliens, just a good solid sci fi story.
