Two words. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I've been a "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" fan for a very long time (Specifically about 8 years) and when the movie came out, it was one of my top priorities to see it. I waited for three whole months (October sixteenth, 2017 - January second, 2018) to see it. Paying 14.00 dollars was so worth it. Overall the movie is great and the story is greatly organized. Twilight was very good in this movie except for the fact that she was too serious (I understand that she was under a lot of pressure due to taking the role as leader of the operation, but she acted like she didn't trust anypony besides Pinkie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy.). Pinkie acted like herself the whole time, even at the worst times possible (Except when the argument between her and Twilight occurred), same with the others. The Storm King wasn't exactly the greatest villain but I'll say that he was funny, although he was also a huge jerk. My assumption about Tempest is that she would've never worked for the Storm King if she still had her horn because she was so determined to get it back that she would have done anything to get there. Captain C. is very brave and is super cool. Princess Skystar was super cheerful yet very lonely and the song "One Small Thing" was really good. Queen Novo was really sassy and she was a really good queen to her subjects. Capper was probably my favorite character because he was really fun.

I'm not going to lie : I am a huge MLP fan, so I may be a bit biased. But here's my take. Cons: The introduction to the main conflict is clunky and uninteresting. The main villain, the Storm King, is unintimidating and does not pose a real threat. He would seem like a filler episode antagonist except he's so overdone. Applejack and Fluttershy do nothing due to time constraints. The new characters' designs look like they were pulled together at the last moment (with the exception of Tempest.) Pros: The songs are amazing. With the exception of "I'm the Friend You Need," which isn't even bad, just not my taste, the music is catchy and is as enjoyable- if not as good- as some of the best songs from the show. The animation is fluid and bright. It never feels cheaply done; the redesigns of the mane 6 are welcomed and look great. Overall: For fans of the show- you'll love this. You probably already do. I'm excited to own it. Otherwise, it's not that bad for non-fans. It's certainly better than "Trolls," "Rock Dog," and "The Secret Life of Pets," though not as amazing as "Moana." It may not have the best reviews, but it is much more welcome to the fandom than another Equestria Girls movie, and is enjoyable if not making critics' standards.

I absolutely LOVED the graphics and the smooth animation. This was the one movie I've seen where the singing wasnt random and especially cringy. And this is a MY LITTLE PONY movie XD Although 'They got the beat' or whatever its called that played at the beginning was slightly cringy. Then again there was the song that is my favorite, 'Open up your eyes' The story could have been a bit better. I mean, the SERIES sometimes has better dramatic events and villians than this, like the changeling queen for example.
