If you like vintage films, and comedy with some drama, a love story sideline, and a happy ending, this one's for you! Especially if you are a Powell fan.

Extremely funny. Also a fascinating film in that it gives us a fly-on-the-wall view of the effect of the Great Depression on Americans of varying social status.

If you want a screwball comedy this is it sit back for lots of laughing and good humor. William Powell gives a great performance.
