One star for Nancy Drew movie abt the Hidden Staircase. I was so disappointed with the movie's effort to modernize the characters with ridiculous over the top antics. Disgusting. Carolyn Keene would be turning over in her grave to bastardize her original plot. 😝

Excellent Modern Nancy Drew My kids wanted to watch this since theyve read all the books and seen all the other films. They thoroughly enjoyed this take on it. Good storyline. many laughs. They want to watch it again! That's always a good thing.

The trailer made the movie look much better than it was. This was a disappointing movie. What was the plot? Who knows, it wasn't memorable. What was the ending? No idea. One big giant blur of a boring movie. Read the books, don't waste your time on this unless the doctor prescribes it for insomnia. F for eFfort.
