Advertising executive Nick Beam (Tim Robbins) has completely bottomed out. His career is a mess, his marriage is on the rocks ... and a fast-talking would-be carjacker (Martin Lawrence) has just jumped into his car! So what does he do? This movie is so funny! I've seen it several times and gets better each time. I was surprised to see it didn't receive better reviews when it came out.

This is one of my all-time favorite comedies from the 90s! It's super funny, relatable and well-written, well-paced and well-cast. There are numerous set-up with brilliant and hilarious payoffs as well, making it a film that makes you want to watch every scene attentively. It boggles my mind that it wasn't successful and that it had such poor ratings. It offers much more than most modern comedies do these days. P.S. The post-credits scene is silly, but still very funny!

This movie ranks in my all time top THREE favorites behind Forrest Gump and Land of the Lost!! I don't have enough digits to count how many times I've seen this movie!
