From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (HARRY POTTER FRANCHISE), PADDINGTON brings us the live-action story of a young talking bear (Ben Whishaw of SKYFALL) who finds himself lost and alone in London until he meets the kindly Brown family. They read the label around his neck that says, “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” and offer him a temporary haven. After a series of comic misadventures, PADDINGTON must convince the Brown family that he belongs with them, all while staying out of the way of a museum taxidermist (Oscar®-winner Nicole Kidman of THE GOLDEN COMPASS) who's got her eyes on him. I write a lot of these reviews and I want y'all to know that i take them seriously, which I do. Every once in a while I find the right film at the right moment that brings a much needed smile in an otherwise 'mirth absent existance' (ya I just quoted myself there ,LOL, sorry) Anyway this is that film ,and though admittedly I've only begun ,it already shows great promise; so I'll get back to it and return shortly to let you guys know if there are any unfamily friendly bits , till then I reckon there is always marmalade to look forwards to :) ! (Geez I need some friends , ah well ttys)

I thought it was going to be soooo much better. And could have been also. But they made it cheap. Its boring and not very much action in it.. i only liked the ending save ur money ppl

This movie was not nearly as funny as I thought it would be. It was still a heart warming movie so it wasn't bad. The little kids in the row in front of me were laughing a lot but otherwise no one else was. I would give this a generous 6 out of 10
