Tracy is a gruff sports promoter who tries in vain to turn outspoken Hepburn into a competitive athlete. Things get delighfully complicated when they fall in love. An all-star supporting cast includes Jim Backus ("Gilligan's Island," "Rebel without a Cause"), Chuck Connors ("The Rifleman") and the screen debut of Charles Bronson ("The Dirty Dozen," "Death Wish").
