A beautiful retelling of a well known fairy tale, without resorting to animation. It has a couple of violent episodes (not unusual in fairly tales) which may distress young children and is very long, so if watching as a family, u may want to break up the viewing. The Blue Fairy and fantastical creatures are delightful.

Loved it. Like how a kidnapped victim finds love for their kidnapper. I watched to the end and loved being tortured by how immensely potent this insanity was. Chaos to no end. This film should be forbidden to hell where it came from. Drugged out of it's mind. It created a magical universe that sucked. Logic and proportion were constantly unsure where they stood. I was driven insane and regret watching it. Nonsense but not in a good way.

I have heard great things about this film but this version is dubbed into English. Personally I finding dubbing visually discordant and distracting. Hoping that the original Italian language version with subtitles will be available here at some point.
