Disappointing hot mess. Problematic portrayal of gender/trans/sexuality issues. Really wanted to like this film but it just didn't hit the mark for me. The script was occasionally great but was let down by some inconsistent characterisation and a not-quite-clever-enough plot. Sarah Snook was amazing and there were some good feminist moments (portraying women's lack of self-determination) and not so good ones (a lack of positive female relationships ). Little diversity but could be worse.

What is it with the indie snobs and the confused leftists reviews on the net. These people missed the whole point of the film. It is a low budget independant film about the paradox of time distortion based on a fantastic short story. Truely unique but dont expect any special effects. Characters are very well developed, acting is formidable and the plot craps all over big budget brain dead features that dont even bother with substance for the brain dead masses. Primer it is not, but it is not trying to be.

Very tedious in parts..plot unclear.. The story jumped around too much and became nonsensical.. It really dragged in parts..tried to be clever and had a letdown ending. Good acting but that couldn't save it. Very disappointing..
