Ratatouille, one of the few family films I've seen that includes a pronunciation guide for the title, features a rat with a penchant for fine cuisine and a wannabe chef without. The two team up to become one of the greatest chefs in Paris. The film itself combines tropes of French cinema and mouth-wateringly realistic CG renderings of food. The story is a touching one, showing how the (literal) little guy can follow his dream. I do recommend this for fans of family films.

I love this film but like many I refuse to pay this much for a digital copy. You cut middleman and instead of it being cheaper it is more expensive, just ridiculous. Bought the physical copy as a combo (3 in 1) with digital only 10 bucks that's 3 versions yet here they are selling it over double for only 1 version.

Better than the Incredibles and Cars, but it's such an "out there" scenario that it's hard to really recommend it. It has the same excellent comedic timing, production, and animation you expect from Pixar so you won't be disappointed there. Plus one extremely touching and unexpected moment that makes the whole movie. It's kind of hard to figure what exactly they were going for with this one though, so for that reason it's hard to say whether they succeeded. I kept saying to myself "It's French so that's why it's fairly weird." I suppose one can't fault them for that. Give it a look and decide for yourself.
