This is a great Hitchcock film to watch and observe. What makes this arguably one of his greatest films is the simplicity of it all yet never letting the suspicion die down. Being show all in one setting may make it hard for someone to watch especially nowadays with so much constant action and scenery but what makes this movie special is that it invites you to observe and get close with the character portrayed. Beautiful imagery and strong plot, every shot is like a portrait which Hitchcock always delivers with his direction. I recommend this to anyone especially those who love watching movies.

First of all, Grace Kelly steals all the scenes she's in, and despite the set looking like it's on a film stage the actors give enough of a convincing performance to make you believe that you're watching people just living their lives (even if some of it is a bit strange). As far as the rest of the story, it just feels like Hitchcock is messing with the audience the whole time. James Stewart plays a great man obsessed, but there's so little to go on that it seems like his hunch is a stretch.

I can only say that to date I have seen this movie approximately 47 times its like the Godfather, Star wars, scbindlers list. It's a absolutely perfect. With sublime performances from Stewart,Kelly and Ritter.its suspenseful fun and draws you in without even knowing it I love this film.
