"Recovery" is a really well-written story and the cast did a great job with their roles. I was pulled into the story within the first five minutes. What I really like about the film is the realism; you could almost feel the emotions of the characters and what they're going through. I almost didn't recognize the doctor (the 'bad guy' from Dumb and Dumber)! There's a lot to like about this film. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy the art of filmmaking and storytelling and this film wins in my book.

Tightly written story that really pays off in the third act. Excellent performances all around, especially from Pearson and Quattrocki. The first time director demonstrates a lot of promise by delivering a suprising amount of skill and maturity. A really gripping thriller that brings a lot of fresh and new ideas to a classic genre outing.
